What defines your identity—and who gets to decide it?

In Day 1, Session 1 of the 2026 Women’s Conference, Lisa Burgett opens God’s Word to show that our true identity is not something we invent, feel, or redefine with each season of life. Instead, our identity is designed by God, distorted by sin, and restored only through Jesus Christ.

Walking through Genesis 1–3, Lisa explains how God intentionally created us in His image—to reflect His glory, live under His good design, and enjoy Him forever. She also exposes how the fall shattered that identity, replacing truth with feelings and God’s glory with self-rule. Yet even in humanity’s rebellion, God reveals His mercy through the promise of a coming Savior.
