When God's people choose to come to Him in humility and repentance, it elicits His engagement with them. But it is equally true that when we stand like Caiaphas and the Sanhedrin in our pride, indifference, stubborn unbelief, and self-righteousness, we attract God’s judgment. It was true in the first century, and it’s true in the twenty-first century. So, what will be said of this generation? Will we be described as prideful powerbrokers or will we be a generation that chooses to humbly strive for a righteousness? We want to make choices that will bring the best of God into our lives.
