After a year of pandemic, many of us are itching to go back to normal. Is it possible to return to normal? After the first Easter, the disciples were asking themselves a similar question. Jesus had appeared to them, twice. But during a brief absence, the disciples were left wondering what to do next. Yes, Jesus was victorious but they felt defeated. After all, they had abandoned him during the hour of his trial. Left to their own thoughts, they decided to go back to normal, not understanding that Jesus had other plans. Perhaps Jesus has other plans for us, too!
