Over the last several years, my life has been broken by operations, heart attacks, resuscitations, and open-heart surgeries. Yet, through it all, I’ve found strength in pouring my heart out to God. As you grow older, life gives and then begins to take away—dreams unrealized, things left undone, hollow spots, and little sanctification. In the quiet of the night watch, there’s an unshakable comfort in bringing it all to God, trusting Him with every loss and every moment.
