In old times, an altar was a place of sacrifice; a place to meet with God. Today, we don’t need to build a physical altar, because our heart is the spiritual altar where we can experience a personal encounter with God. He wants us to stay at the altar! It is there that He can bring Christ to fullness in us and use us to bless others for His glory.
