Bill Johnson talks about how God uses opposition to actually nourish us. Teaching from Psalm 23, Bill shares how God prepares a table of feasting for us in the presence of our enemies. After spying out the Promised Land, Joshua and Caleb came back and urged the Israelites not to be afraid of giants, because “they are our bread”. We often want strength for the battles we face, but God wants to give us strength in midst of the battle. In the presence of our enemies is an unusual place to find strength, but if we will look to God and see from His perspective, we will see that He indeed plans to nourish us in the midst of the battles and opposition we face.
