When the disciples were not able to cast a demon out of the child in Mark 9, they took Jesus aside to ask Him why. This is an example for us to follow when we don’t get an answer to prayer. Get alone with Jesus and come to Him as a child, in surrender and trust. He’s not afraid of our questions, and He is the only One who sees the big picture and is able to bring understanding, growth, comfort, or peace to the things that don’t make sense.
