Those who have authority have responsibility! Are there any ways that you tend to offload the responsibility to heal to the authorities? Are there any needs in the world around you that you believe the church is uniquely equipped and called to address that the state will never be able to?

How can you remain responsibly engaged in political realities, while not becoming overly attached to earthly kingdoms?

If we are faithfully following Jesus, is it fair to expect that we should in some way be seen as a threat or at least annoyance to the world’s schemes of power? Is there any example of this you have observed or imagined?

Are there any ways that our church could be better at understanding and loving each other across the lines of our different political viewpoints?
