Often times we think of God as just a word with little knowledge and understanding of his character and hence, we fail to do as God expects.

Fear God has little meaning because we do not really know him.

Obey him appears to be optional.

Who is God to us, really?

We learn from how God reveals himself to the Israelites, and learn to fear him, and keep and do as he commands us.
