Jesus was condemned to death in a travesty of a legal process. Irretrievably biased judges, weak political rulers and the threat of mob violence.
Although 2000 years old, this is a story which echoes to the day. All of humanity is represented in those who condemned Jesus. This condemnation continues even now.
All of humanity has its hand on the hammer which nailed Jesus to the cross.
And all of humanity is offered freedom by the Jesus death on the cross — a freedom which each of us must choose to reject or accept.
