This is a defense of 1st John 5:7
There is ample external support for the passage, as well as the fact that internally, the Gr. grammar doesn't make sense if you remove vs.7. That is why the modern versions
don't even translate the entire Gr. text in vs.8, since 'in one' refers back to vs.7.
'Not only that, but they turned the statement that they are one into a statement that they are in agreement. Even the Westcott-Hort psuedo-text says they are one (to en esin), so they are not only liars, but they are very poor translators. Modern version users need to ask themselves why their versions have so much contempt for the trinity, but even if they accept this heresy, they should be asking themselves some questions. Why am I trusting this Bible when it is a fact that the translators intentionally set out to deceive me by this slight of hand concerning 1 John 5:7?'
