Warning! Rev. Douglas is “not preaching to tickle your ears” in this week’s sermon, WHY AM I FEELING THIS WAY? (Romans 8:22-23) Instead, he’s preaching truth. Truth of how we must receive both the good and the bad but yet stove to fight the good fight. He reminds us of how God has granted us dominion over the Earth and entrusts us to watch over it and protect it. However, with that power, we still must choose to be obedient to God and aim to resist temptation from the Devil. He tells how the spirit yearns to separate from flesh to go with the Lord and even quotes Pastor Johnson when speaking of life and death. Listen out for why the disaster in Texas occurred and why wild fires burn in California. Also listen to what is said about sin and God’s punishment. Rev. Douglas ends with specific instructions on how we are to prepare ourselves to take a action. One way is to armor up & stand! But be sure to grab the various pieces (as explained by Rev. Douglas) need to “be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”
