This week with Pastor Garry Ansdell, we learn about the parable of a man who sold everything he owned so he could buy a pearl of great price.

How much do you know about pearls? A pearl is made when an oyster gets an irritant in its mouth and slowly adds layers to it and makes it beautiful. These newly formed pearls are used in jewelry, royal crowns, and in this parable as a metaphor for how much God values us.

You were bought at a great price because even though you sin and can be an irritant, God makes you usable for His good purposes. Watch this study to learn more about pearls and why Jesus uses them to describe how much you mean to Him.

God bless you!
