No one is going to live a perfect life in full wisdom and fear of the Lord 100% of the time. Often, people respond to that statement with two extreme thoughts: First, “Well, if I cannot be perfect, then why even try. I’ll just COAST through life!” OR Second, “I highly value wisdom and I will take great care to make every moment of my life count.” What Solomon would tell us is simple: Wise men recognize that they cannot afford to walk according to the flesh even for one moment.
