Today we are going to be talking about The amazing things Jesus said about about giving.
Under the old testament system of give you were required to give a set amount
That was more that Just a Tithe. There were other offerings as well

After bing set free from the law that all changed. Galatians 2:16
And Jesus gave some new ways for us to think about giving
Jesus said so much bout giving not because God needs it but because we do
To Honer God in our finances is such a powerful thing

Let’s first unpack the encounter we have in front of us then we will look at some other things Jesus says

Mark 12:41-44
Now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people put money into the treasury. And many who were rich put in much. 42 Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrans. 43 So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury; 44 for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.”

1. Everyone can Give go God not matter you income of lack of.

2. A small amount given can be a huge blessing

3. There is no gift that is to small, Jesus was impressed with this women’s giving

Luke 16:9-18 “
And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they may receive you into an everlasting home. 10 He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. 11 Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? 12 And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?
13 “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

1. Make friends for yourselves by unrighteous Mammon

2. Be faithful in the small things and more will be intrusted to you

3 No one can serve money and God
