How can we help Trinitarians break free from false beliefs and to help them understand the biblical teaching of Isaiah 44:8 and show them it is not denying the Son of God was “a god” who “with God” in the beginning like the other “sons of God”?—Job 38:7

First, show the misguided Trinitarian the “sons” of God are not spoken about in Isaiah 44:8 nor in the context of that text. It's explicitly talking about idols. In fact, these “sons” are elsewhere explicitly called “gods” by both God and by the Son of God.—Psalm 82:6; John 10:33.

So, again, begin share and explain to them the context of Isaiah 44:8 from verses 9-20 specifically addresses false idol gods, and then have them read Psalm 82:1-6 and John 10:33-36, to show clearly both God and the Son of God recognize others as “gods,” namely God’s other “sons,” who are not in view in Isaiah 44:8-20. It is the idols of Israel and the nations who are denied existence as “gods” in those texts. Conclude by explaining the importance of interpreting texts in light of their context, not in the light of the Trinity.
