God showed us mercy in November. The election didn’t fix all of our problems, but across the nation, millions of people raised their hands to say, “We need a new direction.” We cannot imagine those we’re electing will succeed unless there is a heart change in the people of this nation. No matter how zealous, talented, determined, or focused they are, without an ongoing heart change in the people in this nation, we will revert to our old habits. We need a breakthrough—God’s intervention in our lives—to find a way forward. That will take work on our part.
