And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.” (Luke 2:13-19)


Mary was an amazing young teenage girl. She was only 14 or 15 when she had this visitation from the angel who told her she was chosen among all women, highly favored, and having a virgin birth. It was a lot to comprehend. Imagine trying to process all of that!

Then all of the sudden she has the baby, she’s in a cave and it’s all happening pretty quickly. What did Mary need? More understanding. She must have had a sense of, “What just happened? Who I am? Whose this child is? What this is all about?”

Then comes the shepherds saying they just saw angels, and they began to tell Mary and Joseph about a visitation. What did Mary do? She listened and she pondered; she took every word from their tongue and she was reaching for confirmation.

You see, God has a whole prophetic tapestry for you. You’re on a path right now – you and your family – and God wants you to know that He has your back covered and He has your front covered. He wants to begin to inform you of a piece here and there about family, money, health, and about your purpose.

God is going to begin to unfold and reveal to you – but pay attention! It’s going to come through people’s mouths, through preachers, from television, through iPads, the internet, email, and in unexpected ways. God is going to begin to overwhelm you with His goodness and His information. It’s all concerning YOU – that your future is solid and it’s better than your past!
