We All Need Redemption!

Genesis 27 is a chapter filled with conspiracy, deception and conflict! Worse, there is no heroic protagonist; none of the characters look very good in this chapter. Join Pastor Jim as he unpacks the ongoing story of redemption history as God continues working through flawed individuals to accomplish His ultimate purpose of bringing salvation to this world. (6:24) Call to Worship: Instruments of Righteousness

O Lord our God, as we pause this week to give You thanks,
We offer ourselves to become instruments of Your righteousness.
May our desire be to honor Your name.
May our minds love Your truth.
May our lips speak boldly to spread Your Gospel.
May our feet walk in Your ways.

May our tongues bring healing, mercy and grace.
May our arms embrace the lonely and the unloved.
May our hands lift up those who are tired and weak.
May our ears listen for the cries of the distressed and downtrodden.

May our strength be spent in working for justice.
May we be slow to anger and quick to forgive.
May our eyes gaze humbly and patiently towards heaven.
May we be whole and wholly Thine.

This we pray in the name of Christ our Redeemer.
Amen.
