Bill Johnson teaches on our calling as bearers of the image of God. We are ambassadors of another kingdom, and we have been created in the image of God to bear the image of God. Hebrews 1 tells us that Jesus was the exact representation of God when He was on earth. Throughout Jesus’ ministry, He made it clear that He came to reveal the Father, and then He commissioned us to walk in His footsteps. For many people, we may be the only Jesus they ever see. No one person can fully display who God is - that is why He calls us His Body, and only as we come together in unity can we reveal the many different facets of His nature and goodness. The best way for us to accurately represent Him is by surrendering to His Lordship and following the Holy Spirit.
