We want to be men and women who understand the assignment of our life is more than our personal satisfaction. Our assignment means sacrificially and obediently spending time, energy, and effort in the pursuit of God so His purposes might break forth in our generation. We are His watchmen and gatekeepers for our families, neighborhoods, and communities. Church, it’s time to pray in some new ways—to fast, watch, intercede, and to seek the Lord for His purposes to take root in our communities and in our generation. We have an assignment to be prayerfully on the alert for ungodliness and to be salt and light—even when it’s not convenient.
