God’s people should not serve Him based on comfort and convenience. We must be willing to bear discomfort, which means deconstructing disappointments and the temptation to withdraw when things happen in our lives that God could have prevented or brought a different outcome. We’re sometimes tempted to quit. Please don’t do that. Serving the Lord and being a part of what God is doing in the earth doesn’t mean things will be easy. None of our biblical heroes had it easy. Neither did Jesus. You’ll have to deconstruct those disappointments, empty yourself of your perceived entitlement, and lay that down. We want to serve the Lord unconditionally.
