A world famous painting named, "The Scream", was sold for $119 million at an auction recently. That is a whooping sum of money, $119 million for this painting called, "The Scream". A U.S. billionaire won the auction bid for it.

I didn't know it was worth so much. I mean I know it is a famous painting, but I didn't fully recognize the value or the worth of this painting, and that is really the problem of Christians. We underestimate what we have as Christians, and we are so guilty of looking around us, and comparing ourselves with others, and lament that they have this and they have that, and we don't have this and we don't have that.

Unknowingly, falling into the trap and the snare of Satan, because he wants to rob us of our joy. And on of the things he does is to make you unaware, or to disguise the true value you have in Jesus Christ. You see, the Bible says in Psalm 37:16, "A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked."

"Many wicked", they may have lots of money. Many of them combined together, they certainly have riches, but the Bible says that the little a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked. You say, why?

Well, I believe it's because you have God. And when you have God, you have all that you need; you have all that is sufficient for you. And the Psalmist is here saying, therefore, my happiness, my joy, does not need to be dependent on the material things or the riches I process. Just with the little I have in God, is better than all the riches of many wicked combined.

So my friends, you today do not need to be trapped into keeping up with the Joneses, and getting discouraged and depressed when you have not what they have. What you have today is righteousness from God. What you have today is peace with God. What you have today is what they will not have, unless they turn to Jesus.

My friends, when we have God, we have enough. When we have God, we have all that we'll ever need. "A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked."

May God help you today to realize your joy, your satisfaction, and your sufficiency, in Him alone. God bless.
