There are times when Jesus says things that are very challenging to us. The evidence of true discipleship is our willingness to respond in surrender to His Lordship. There were many who walked away from Jesus but the disciples had come to know that He had the words of eternal life. When we find His commands to be impossible we know they are Him-possible because we are those who have partaken of His life through faith. We are not left to our own resources.
