Bill Johnson teaches from Isaiah 60-62 on our purpose to arise and shine and let God’s light be seen through our lives. This theme of light and darkness is seen throughout the Bible, with Jesus also teaching “You are the light of the world, a city on a hill”. It has always been God’s plan that our lives would reveal His glory and be beacons of hope to those in darkness and pain. There are levels of God’s glory that we have not yet stepped into but are invited to experience and walk in. It is not for our own glory or fame, but for the purpose that everyone would have a chance to know our good Heavenly Father who loves and cares for His children. It is God’s kindness that leads to repentance.
