The Rt. Rev. Edwin A. Penick, Bishop of North Carolina, and past President of the Synod of Sewanee, brought the meet ing of the Fourth Province of the Church to one of the current national issues of the day in his keynote address, when he spoke on the matter of inte gration. The meeting took place in New Orleans on November 17th.
In his address to the delegates from all over the southeastern part of the United States, Bishop Penick said: we are realistic enough to recognize the plain fact that this staggering racial problem is here.
