Believing that there is no existing organization which adequately represents or acts for a very large proportion of the evangelical Christians of America, a group of several hundred leaders from forty states and the Dominion of Canada, representing scores of denominations, educational institutions, mission boards, and other Christian organizations met in convention at the La Salle Hotel in Chicago on May 3-6, 1943, and organized an association for the purpose of meeting this need. This brochure is issued to present the high lights of that convention.
