The Epistles of Peter and Jude (Illustrated)
Contains 11 illustrations from key events in Martin Luther's life and the Reformation which forms the backdrop to much of his comment on the Epistles of Peter and Jude.

The great German reformer, Martin Luther (1483-1546) wrote a number of commentaries and this, on the epistles of Peter and Jude, was considered by C H Spurgeon as being among his best. His style is vigorous and he pulls no punches in defining and defending the great doctrines re-emphasised at the Reformation. At the same time there is a great deal of pastoral warmth in this work. Pastors and experienced readers will value it for its historic significance as well as its clear exposition.

First published in German in 1523, this English translation (by E H Gillett) was made available in 1859. This work has been completely re-typeset for issue as an eBook.
