Each member of the elect has been predestined to be conformed to the image of Christ, who is the image of God. It is difficult to grasp how marvelous such a calling is.
The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is so exalted as to be incomprehensible to us. Although He always will be our Lord, we have been selected to be made in His inward and outward image to a greater extent than we may have realized.
