In this issue, we follow Jonah’s journey and the issues he struggled with, such as self-deception, self-interest and relating to God on his own terms. In exploring his resistance we can learn to become spiritually mature and understand that God is ever-patient. Like Jonah’s story, God’s grace is similarly always pursuing us, and through knowing His love and mercy we are always given the chance we need.
