Resmndeo dicendmn qu�d in virtutibus qua adjmguntur alieni principali virtuti, duo sunt consideranda prim� quidem, quod virtutes illa: in alique cum principali virtute conveniaut, seound� quod in aliquo defioiant a perfecta ratione ipsius. Quia verb justitia ad alterum est, ut ex supra dictis patet (qu. 58, art. 8) omnes virtutea quae ad alterum sunt possunt ratione convenienfim justitiae annecti. Ratio verb justitia consistit in hoc quod alteri reddatur quod ei debetur secundum aqualitntem, ut ex sapr� dictis patet (qu. 58, art. 10 et il Dupliciter ergo aliqua virtus ad alterum existens a ratione justitim deficit uno quidem modo in quantum deficit a ra boue quali: alio modo, in quantum deficit � ratione de biti. Sant enim qwdam virtutes, quae debitum quidem alteri reddunt sed non possunt reddere aquale. Et primo quidem quidquid ab homine Deo redditur debitum est non tamen potest esse equalef'ut scilicet tantum homo ei reddat quantum debut, seamd�m illud Psalm. CXV: Quid retribuam Domino pro omnibus qua: retribuit mihi? Et secundum hoc adjan gimr justitiae Magio, qua: ut dicit Tullius, superioris cujus dam nature (quam divinam vocant) curam ceremoniamque aflert. Secundo parentibus non potest secundum equali tatem recompensari quod eis debetur, ut patet per Pbilosopbum in Vill. Ethic. (cup. Et sie adjungitur justitiae pietas, per quam, ut Tullius dicit, sanguine junctis patriaeque bene volis otticium et diligeus tribuitur cultus. Tertio non potest Wins mquale przemium recompeusari ab bomine virtus, ut patet per Philosophum in W. Ethi.: o et sic adjungitur justitia: obseruant1a, per quam, ut Tullius dicit, homines aliqat dignitate antecedentes quodam culto et bonore dignu mur.

Thomas Aquinas was an immensely influential philosopher and theologian in the tradition of scholasticism, known as Doctor Angelicus and Doctor Communis.
He was the foremost classical proponent of natural theology, and the father of the Thomistic school of philosophy and theology. His influence on Western thought is considerable, and much of modern philosophy was conceived as a reaction against, or as an agreement with, his ideas, particularly in the areas of ethics, natural law and political theory.
The philosophy of Aquinas has exerted enormous influence on subsequent Christian theology, especially that of the Roman Catholic Church, extending to Western philosophy in general, where he stands as a vehicle and modifier of Aristotelianism, which he fused with the thought of Augustine.
