Zac Poonen ( - Present)

God called brother Zac Poonen to a new work early on in his Christian experience. The movement is now called Christian Fellowship Churches where the New Covenant of New Testament Christianity is clearly preached.

Brother Zac Poonen has written 25 books most of them being on the deeper Christian life. Many of these have been translated into a number of languages and have been circulated widely around the world. (The New Covenant Servant) 6. Being a father to others

Paul said that even if there were countless teachers, there were not many fathers, in his time (1 Corinthians 4:15). This is true even today. Every servant of God must strive to have the spirit of a father towards the brothers and sisters in the church. It is easy to BECOME a father, but it is diffi... Read More

(The New Covenant Servant) 7. Building the Church

The ultimate purpose of God in the new covenant is not to produce a number of Christ-like individuals, but to produce "ONE NEW MAN" - one Body in Christ (Ephesians 2:15, 16). Under the old covenant, God raised up a Moses, an Elijah and a John the Baptist. They were all lone men who stood for God as ... Read More

(The New Covenant Servant) 8. God needs men

God needs men today: men who will stand before His face and hear His voice daily; men who have no desire in their heart for anyone or anything other than God Himself; men who fear God so greatly that they hate sin in every form and love righteousness and truth in all their ways; men who have overcom... (The Purpose Of Failure) 1. God’s Purpose In Man’s Failure

(A message given at Christian Fellowship Centre, Bangalore, India, on Sunday, April 9, 2000) Let's turn to Luke chapter 22 verse 31. Here we read of Jesus warning Peter of a danger that lay ahead of him. He told him "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; but I h... Read More

(The Purpose Of Failure) 2. God’s Perfect Plan For Those Who Have Failed

There are many brothers and sisters who feel that because they have sinned and failed God at some time in their past lives, therefore they cannot fulfil God's perfect plan for their lives now. Let us look at what the Scriptures have to say on this matter, and not lean on our own understanding or our... Read More

(The Real Truth) 1. The Real Truth About Evil

One of the greatest mysteries in the world that people have tried hard to understand is the mystery of evil. How did evil begin in a world that was created by an all-wise and good God? Why does evil have the upper hand in every part of the world? And why is there so much sickness, poverty, sorrow an... Read More

(The Real Truth) 2. The Real Truth About Sin

Why do some men often behave like animals? The answer is: Because they are only interested in their bodily needs and in their existence on this earth. What is an animal interested in? Food, sleep and sexual satisfaction. That's all. And when a man is interested only in these things, we can say that ... Read More

(The Real Truth) 3. The Real Truth About Our Conscience

We have all been created with a conscience that constantly reminds us that we are moral beings. Conscience is God's voice within us telling us that we are responsible for our actions. One day, we will have to give an answer to God for the way we have lived our lives. We are not like animals, who hav... Read More

(The Real Truth) 4. The Real Truth About Forgiveness

How can God forgive our sins? God is a just and righteous God and He cannot forgive a person by OVERLOOKING his sins. That would be unjust. God is a holy and just God. And so He has to punish sin. But because He is also a loving God He has made a way for our sins to be forgiven. All religions teach ... Read More

(The Real Truth) 5. The Real Truth About Repentance

The punishment for sin is spiritual death - which as we have already seen, means to be cut off from God's presence forever. That is what Jesus experienced on the cross. He was forsaken by His Father. Jesus being God, and therefore eternal in His inner person, could experience the agony of eternal se... Read More

(The Real Truth) 6. The Real Truth About Faith

Once we have repented, the next requirement for receiving God's forgiveness is faith. The Bible says, "By grace you are saved through faith" (Ephesians chapter 2, verse 8). Grace is God's Hand reaching out to give us His help and His blessings. Faith is our hand reaching up to take that help and tho... Read More

(The Real Truth) 7. The Real Truth About Salvation

The Name "Jesus" means "Saviour". He came to earth with that Name, because that was what He came to do - to save people from their sins. Salvation is more than forgiveness. Let me use an illustration to make the difference clear. Let us say that the road outside my house is being repaired, and that ... Read More

(The Real Truth) 8. The Real Truth About Eternity

For one who has become a child of God, the things of eternity are more valuable than the things of time. The values of heaven become more important to him than the values held here on earth. When the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, after rising from the dead, 2000 years ago, He promised to com... Read More

(The Supreme Priorities) 1. A Proper Sense Of Values

The blind man throws away a cheque for one hundred rupees and clings on to a valueless piece of glazed paper, considering the latter more desirable because it is smoother to his touch. He lacks a proper sense of values because he is blind. Like him, the two-year old child also prefers a cheap toy to... Read More

In just three words the Holy Spirit records the testimony of Enoch's life: "He pleased God" (Hebrews 11:5). There is no mention of wealth amassed or of earthly honours obtained. A Bondslave Of Christ

Paul called himself a bondslave of Jesus Christ (Rom.1:1). That is what all the early apostles were. Jesus is looking today for bondslaves - not servants. There is a difference between a servant and a slave. A servant works for pay. A slave gets no salary. God has no servants under the new covenant,... Read More
