Zac Poonen

Zac Poonen ( - Present)

God called brother Zac Poonen to a new work early on in his Christian experience. The movement is now called Christian Fellowship Churches where the New Covenant of New Testament Christianity is clearly preached.

Brother Zac Poonen has written 25 books most of them being on the deeper Christian life. Many of these have been translated into a number of languages and have been circulated widely around the world. A Challenging Message

In Acts Chapter 10, we read of the gospel going to non-Jews for the first time. The Lord had told His disciples that they would be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and then to the ends of the earth. In Chapter 2, they started with the Jews in Jerusalem and Judea. Then in Chapter 8, they we... Read More

A Consuming Fire

In Isaiah's prophecy we read the following words: "Sinners in Zion are terrified; trembling has seized the godless (hypocrites - KJV). Who among us can live with the consuming fire? Who among us can live with continual burning? He who walks righteously, and speaks with sincerity, he who rejects unju... Read More

A Daniel-Ministry And A Lucifer-Ministry

Daniel (who wrote this prophecy) was one of those men whom God could use in his generation. When he was a 17-year old young man, "he determined in his heart not to defile himself" (Dan.1:8). And when Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah saw young Daniel taking a stand for the Lord, they too got the boldnes... Read More

A Father And An Older Brother

From the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15, we can learn something of the depth of God's love for those who backslide from him and even exploit His goodness towards them. There we learn so much about the Divine nature - and that is the nature that we are to partake of. We see in that parable a ... Read More

A Great Example

In Rev. 3:7-13, The Lord describes Himself to the church in Philadelphia as the One who can now open or shut any door. If we are overcomers, we need never stand before a closed door at any time when it is the will of God that we should go through. But the Lord also shuts certain doors before us, so ... Read More

A Life Of Constant Triumph

God's will for our lives is CONSTANT VICTORY. This is clearly taught in a number of Scriptures. Consider just a few.... "Thanks be to God Who ALWAYS leads us in His triumph in Christ" (2 Cor.2:14). "In ALL THESE THINGS we overwhelmingly conquer through Him Who loves us" (Rom.8:37). "I am writing the... Read More

A Loving Father

Many have the wrong idea that God the Father is a very strict Person and that it is only Jesus Who loves them. This is a Satanic distortion of the truth. It was the love of the Father that sent Jesus to save us from our sins. Jesus told His disciples, "The Father Himself loves you" (Jn. 16:27). He a... Read More

A New Attitude of Mind - Giving Our Maximum to the Lord

Many religious people are legalistic and are under the law. They think in terms of the minimum necessary in order to please God. This is why they calculate exactly how much 10% of their income comes to and then offer it reluctantly to God. In the Old Testament, this attitude finally ended up in the ... Read More

A New Vessel Full Of Salt

Reading: Matthew 5:13; 2 Kings 2:1-22; Acts 1:1-9. God's Provision For This World In the portions of Scripture listed above, we read of the days when the great prophet Elijah was about to be taken up to heaven. God sent Elijah at a time when Israel was turning further and further away from their God... Read More

A Remnant

When we study the "minor" prophets in the Old Testament, we notice certain themes recurring in many of them - the anger of God against sin, the certainty of judgment, the evils of pride and of exploitation of the poor, the love of money and the immorality found among the leaders, God using the heath... A Renewed Mind

"Do not be conformed to this world....But be transformed by the (entire) renewal of your mind - by its new ideals and its new attitude - so that you may prove (for yourselves) what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God" (Rom. 12:2). Worldiness plugs our spirit's ears preventing us from ... Read More

A Sovereign Ruler

"Our Father Who art in heaven," (Matt.6:9) reminds us that the One we are praying to is One Who is Sovereign and Almighty, ruling in the heavens. Even in the Old Testament, God sought to impress His sovereignty upon His people. He told them, "Relax and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the... Read More

A Warning from the Five Backslidden Messengers and Churches

In Revelation 2 and 3, when we look at the five messengers and churches that are rebuked by the Lord, we see in them a definite downward trend: (1) In Ephesus, we see the loss of first love for the Lord. When we lose our devotion for Christ, we have taken the first step downwards. In a little while,... Read More

A Word from Zephaniah for Our Times

In Zephaniah 1:4,5 The Lord said,"Not only the other nations, but I will crush Judah and Jerusalem too with My fist and destroy every last trace of their Baal worship, because they go up to the roof and bow down to the sun, moon and stars. They claim to follow the Lord, but worship Molech".The Canaa... Read More

Abraham At Mount Moriah

When God spoke to Abraham that night to offer Isaac as a sacrifice, Abraham was 125 years old and had already obtained a name among the people as a man of God. Genesis 21:22 tells us that "at that time (King) Abimelech and Phicol, the commander of his army, spoke to Abraham, saying, `God is with you... Read More

Acceptable Sacrifices

The sacrifices of God are a broken and a contrite heart, that is aware of its own nothingness and helplessness (Psa.51:17). That is what Abel had, and what Cain did not have. And that is why it is written, "The Lord had regard for Abel, and (therefore) for his offering ...... But the Lord had no reg... Read More

Accepting Our Partners as They Are in Marriage

Before sin came, "Adam and Eve were naked and were not ashamed". They were open and honest with each other and had nothing to hide. But as soon as they sinned, things changed. They covered themselves with fig leaves immediately. Why did they do that? There were no "peeping Toms" in that garden. And ... Read More

After Death What?

Death has no terror for a disciple of Christ, for Jesus has conquered death. Death is a defeated enemy. Jesus died and made Satan powerless thereby so that we need no longer have any fear of death (Heb. 2:14,15). The keys of death are now in the hand of Jesus (Rev. 1:18). Only He can open the door o... All Sufficient Grace

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God." (Eph.2:8). We began our Christian life - receiving forgiveness of sins and the baptism in the Spirit - by grace, through faith. One day when Jesus Christ our Lord returns in glory, we will be caught ...
