Many of these have been translated into a number of languages and have been circulated widely around the world. God is Dependent on Broken Men for His Work on Earth

We see in Exodus 1:22, that it was because Pharaoh had passed an order that all male babies should be killed, that Moses' mother put Moses into a little basket and floated it down the river with a prayer to God. If it were not for that evil edict, she would never have done such a thing. But because ... Read More

God is on the Throne

In Revelation 4:2 John says “I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne”. This is how God lifts us up also in the Spirit so that we can see the things of earth from a heavenly standpoint! As we approach the end of time, it is important that we lea... Read More

God Loves Us As He Loved Jesus

The root cause of all our spiritual problems lies in our not knowing God as a Loving Father and a Sovereign God. One truth that has revolutionized my Christian life is the glorious revelation that Jesus gave us that the Father loves us just as He loved Him. Jesus prayed to the Father, ".....that the... God Needs Women

God needs women today who will faithfully portray through their lives, the glory that He originally intended to manifest through a woman, when He created Eve. Her Glory As Man's Helper When God made Eve, it was in order that she might be a helper suitable for man (Gen. 2:18). The glory of this minis... Read More

God Uses Those Who Have Failed

Peter could become a compassionate apostle only after he had blundered and fallen into the sin of denying the Lord three times. It was certainly not God's perfect will for Peter to sin like that. But yet we see that God allowed it in order to do a work in Peter. It made him tender and sympathetic to... Read More

God Was Well-Pleased With Him

When Jesus was thirty, the Father spoke these words about Him publicly from heaven, "This is my beloved Son in Whom I am well-pleased." (Mt. 3:17). And that was at a time when Jesus had not done a single miracle or even preached a single sermon! What then was the secret of His being approved by God?... Read More

God will Either Open or Close the Door at the Right Time for Overcomers

In Rev 3:7 The Lord describes Himself as the One who can open or shut any door. ("And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens) If we are overcomers, we need never stand ... God's Perfect Plan For Those Who Have Failed

There are many brothers and sisters who feel that because they have sinned and failed God at some time in their past lives, therefore they cannot fulfil God's perfect plan for their lives now. Let us look at what the Scriptures have to say on this matter, and not lean on our own understanding or our... Read More

God's Blessing or God's approval

There are two types of believers - those who seek only God's blessing and those who seek God's approval; and there is a world of difference between the two. In Rev. 7:9-14, we read of a great multitude of believers - so vast that they cannot even be numbered. Their testimony is that they owe their s... Read More

God's Dealings Are All In Love

God has always required obedience to His commandments from man. In the Old Covenant, the Israelites were given commandments to obey. But they discovered that they could not keep God's laws perfectly. Under the New Covenant, God promises to write His laws in our hearts and minds so that we will not o... Read More

God's Guidance Through Circumstances Of Life

God is the God of Providence. He can control our circumstances and thereby indicate His will. He allows certain things to befall us, either to confirm the guidance we have received through the witness of the Spirit, or to stop us from taking a wrong step. As George Muller has said, "The stops of a g... Read More

God's Plan for our Lives

God has a perfect plan for our lives. And He wants to guide us into fulfilling it. The most blessed life that we can ever live on earth is one in which we fulfil that plan completely. God's Plan For Your Life

Man's greatest honour and privilege is to do the will of God. This was what the Lord Jesus taught His disciples. He once said that only those who did His Father's will would enter the kingdom of Heaven (Matt. 7:21). He also said that His true brothers and sisters were those who did the will of God (... God's Purpose For Us

Most of us came to Christ at first with some selfish motive - to get some benefit for ourselves - perhaps healing, or deliverance from hellfire. But God still received us, in spite of that selfish motive. The father of the prodigal son loved him so much, that he welcomed him back, even though the so... Read More

God's Righteousness

Israel had great zeal for God (Rom.10:3) - but it was zeal without a knowledge of God, for they did not understand that God's righteousness could not be produced by their own efforts. This was essentially where they failed. And this is where many Christians pursuing righteousness also fail today. Th... Read More

God's Sovereignty

Abraham's two sons Ishmael and Isaac grew up in the same home with the same father. Yet God chose only one of them - Isaac (Rom.9:7). That was not because God was partial, but because He is sovereign. He has the absolute right as the Creator of the universe to do exactly what He likes and to choose ... Read More

God's Unchanging Love

The foundation for our christian faith is God's unchanging love for us. "We love him, because he first loved us" (1 John 4:19). Right through the history of the nation of Israel God sought to impress upon them the enduring nature of His love. He loved them with an everlasting love (Jer. 31:3; Deut. ... Read More

God's Word - Our Spiritual Food

A child needs milk to start with, but he needs solid food later on. The Bible contains both milk and solid food. The milk is called "the elementary teaching about the Christ" (Heb. 6:1); and the solid food is called "the word of righteousness" (Heb. 5:13). How soon we move on to solid food, depends ...
