Zac Poonen ( - Present)

God called brother Zac Poonen to a new work early on in his Christian experience. The movement is now called Christian Fellowship Churches where the New Covenant of New Testament Christianity is clearly preached.

Brother Zac Poonen has written 25 books most of them being on the deeper Christian life. Many of these have been translated into a number of languages and have been circulated widely around the world. He clearly and passionately shares the narrow way of Christian discipleship that is neglected by so many modern preachers.

Two Types of People Who Bring Delight to God

1. God Delights in a Cheerful Giver "God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Cor. 9:7). This is why God gives man total freedom - both before and after conversion, and after being filled with the Spirit. If we are like God, we also will not seek to control others or pressurise them. We will give them freedom... Read More

Two Types of Sins & Two Types of Blessings

TWO TYPES OF SINS The first two sins that man committed that are mentioned in the Bible, are the ones described in Genesis 3 and 4. Those who sinned there were immediately judged by God. But we notice a difference in the way God judged Adam and the way He judged Cain. God never cursed Adam or Eve (i... Read More

Unbelief Is the Root Cause of All the Other Sins

1 John 2:6 says, " The one who says he abides in Christ ought himself to WALK IN THE SAME MANNER AS HE WALKED." How did Jesus walk? Was it in victory SOME of the time, or MOST of the time or ALL the time? We know the answer. He was tempted in all points as we are, but He never sinned. "For we do not... Read More

Understanding God's Heart

These are quotes from sermons preached at RLCF Church in August 2010. Click here to listen to these sermons • God overlooks the years in which we were ignorant of His ways. But He is now calling us to turn around and obey Him (Acts 17:30). • Obedience to God is as much of a burden as wings are to a ... Read More

Value Life and Fellowship More than Anything Else

John begins his gospel and his first letter by mentioning the things that were in the beginning. In the beginning when there were no doctrines, church patterns, baptism, etc., over which Christians debate now, there was only God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and they had life and fellowshi... Watch Your Eye And Your Tongue

In 1 Corinthians 9:27, Paul tells us one of the secrets of his life. He “treated his body roughly, training it TO DO WHAT IT SHOULD, AND NOT WHAT IT WANTS TO” (Living). Otherwise he feared that after he had preached to others, he would be disqualified. Our eyes and our tongue are the two members of ... Read More

We are Called to be Rejected and Persecuted by Men

"All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted." (2 Tim.3:12) Jesus told His disciples that in the world they would face tribulation (Jn.16:33); and He prayed to the Father NOT to take His disciples out of the world (Jn.17:15). The apostles taught believers that only through much t... Read More

We Do Not Struggle Against Flesh And Blood

"Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the HEAVENLY PLACES" (Eph.6:12). 3500 years ago, Moses came down from Mount Sinai and brought the Israelites a promise fr... We have a Loving Heavenly Father

Many have the wrong idea that God the Father is a very strict Person and that it is only Jesus Who loves them. This is a satanic distortion of the truth. It was the love of the Father that sent Jesus to save us from our sins. Jesus told His disciples, "The Father Himself loves you" (Jn. 16:27). He a... Read More

What A Happy Year It Will Be

Under the old covenant, God gave the Jews many types of Sabbaths. The weekly Sabbath is well-known. There were however some lesser known Sabbaths as well. One was the Sabbath year that came at the end of every six years (Lev.25:2-4). Another was the fiftieth-year Sabbath that came at the end of ever... Read More

What Baptism Means

Romans 6:1-7 clearly explains the meaning of baptism. There we are told that our old man was crucified with Christ and that in baptism we are buried with Christ into death. The old man is the mind that we had in our unconverted days that wanted to sin. That has been crucified with Christ. We don't h... Read More

What Type of Relationship Do You Have With The Lord?

Hosea teaches us that the only way to effectively minister is by going through deep suffering in one’s personal life. God does this by different methods for different people. He does not have a standard syllabus for all of God’s children. He taught Hosea through a difficult wife, but He taught Jerem... Read More

Why Did Christ Die?

Paul speaks much about the great truth that all believers died with Christ when He died on the cross (2 Cor.5:14). He speaks about this in Romans, Corinthians and Galatians. "I am crucified with Christ" (Gal.2:20). "If one died, then all died" (2 Cor.5:14). This was a unique revelation that God gave... Read More

Your Decisions Determine What You Become

God does not predetermine whether anyone should go to heaven or hell. He wants all men to repent and to be saved. Those who go to hell do so out of their own choice. Yet God also sovereignly chooses His own children. The problem of reconciling man's freewill with God's sovereign election is faced on... Read More

Your Life Can Be Like a Watered Garden (Isaiah 58:11)

There are three gardens found in Scripture. 1. The Garden of Eden: It says in Genesis 2:8,15 that "the Lord God planted a garden and He put the man and woman there to cultivate it". How did sin come in that garden? It was basically because of two wrong attitudes that Adam and Eve had. The first was ... Read More

"In Christ"

Our salvation began in God's mind. It was He Who "chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world" (Eph.1:4). We love Him because He first loved us (1 Jn.4:19). In Ephesians, we are told first about what God has done for us (Chapters 1 to 3). Only then are we told as to what we must do for God... Read More

`Hating' our Relatives

The first condition of discipleship is that we must cut off the natural, inordinate love that we have for our relatives. Jesus said "If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple"... Read More
