Why do christians sing songs before their messages? Why do they even call it worship? Isn't it a little weird? 
 
Worship before messages allows us to come together and prepare our minds and hearts for the message we're going to hear. It gives us an opportunity to relax, take a deep breath and remove any distractions from the week or the world outside.

What is worship? Why do we worship? (Message Only) | Sandals Church

One of the things we have missed the most throughout the pandemic has been the ability to gather and worship together as a unified body of Christ. Being with one another on Sunday mornings is such a vital part to our faith and relationship with God. But if we're being honest, we've lost some of that drive to be together. Whether it be a busy schedule, logging on or getting to church late, or just pure laziness, we often miss singing and worshipping together. 
 
Worship is so much more than just singing a few songs about how awesome Jesus is. It prepares our hearts and minds for the sermons we hear and the communities we surround ourselves with. -Some of us believe in nothing 
-Some of us have believed in someone and been crushed 
-Some of us are ready to believe in Jesus and be saved 
--Believing in Jesus gives us: 
--Hope I need for the certain death I will face 
--Peace of God for my anxiety and fear 
--Power to face everything that the world throws at me 
--The mission of God that I was made for 
-To be saved, I need to believe: (I am a sinner that needs to be saved, Jesus died for my sins on the cross, Jesus rose from the dead, Jesus is the Son of God, I am ready to live my life for Jesus) 
-Because I believe: (I am willing to stand for Jesus, I am willing to publicly confess that I believe)
