We are the Choir of Our Lady of the Rosary in the parish of St. John, on the island of Barbados. Ours is a vibrant and active music ministry and we have created this podcast to focus on the psalms sung for each Sunday’s liturgy. Inspired by the Pilgrim People Catholic choirs of Singapore, we began writing music settings for the psalms which reflect the rhythm and sense of our Caribbean culture. We currently use their compositions, as well as our original music. Our hope is that by beginning this podcast we can share our love of the psalms with a wider community.
