Welcome to Grace Bible Church LOGAN's first attempt to livestream/premiere the worship service online!

How a premiere works is that you can pause, or move backwards in the video but cannot go past "live". This means that we can all be at the same place in the video at the same time. 
 
Due to looking into licensing and preparation the are no songs recorded or included by our worship team this week. At 5min into the video you will be asked to "Pause" the stream and to sing some songs with those who are gathered with you. This will be done by opening these two songs either by clicking the links below or they will hopefully appear when you click the (i) in the top right hand corner at 5:08 into the video.

If you are using a computer to watch this, it will be easy to pause and to open the links in a new tab (ctrl + click). But on a phone/tablet in the youtube app, this will take you to the new video and you will lose your place in the video that is premiering. So when you return you can jump straight to 5:12, into the video to continue where you left off. 
 
Thankfully that will be the only time you will be directed away from the video. It also may be a good chance to pause and run to the bathroom just before Pastor Dave starts preaching to make sure you don't miss any of the expositional and encouraging goodness to be glean from God's Word!

We know that in all things God isn't just reacting to try and fix them for our good. And it isn't up to us to try and work out how we can try and make or find some of this good that God promised. 
 
God is completely and utterly sovereign and has planned and foreordained these events specifically for a purpose and as Romans 8:28-29 tells us, the good God has planned is actually our likeness to Christ. Our further "set-apartness" for God's glory. 
 
Elihu (a prophet of God) comes along to share God's true with and call to repentance Job and his three friends.

"Ears to Hear" | Job 32:1 - 37:24 | November 13th 2016 | Part 7

The problem Job had was that he was in the suffering and amidst the suffering instead of reminding himself that God is good, God is in control, Job tried to justify himself, even exaggerating himself and whilst doing so made out that God was unjust. 
 
In all of this suffering Job begins to understand that God's justice isn't "simple", it isn't just black and white but far more complex. 
 
Occasionally there may be times where we suffer unjustly or are accused of doing things we never did and suffer for it. Let there be hope that God, the innocent, sinless, perfect, righteous creator, suffered the greatest injustice for wickedness He never committed. 
 
Jesus Christ suffered the fully fury of God's wrath, was called a criminal, drunkard, beaten, scoffed at and scorned on OUR behalf, so that in Him we may have life! 
 
 
 Let us take heed sometimes God is much less merciful to His children than we would be to ours because His purposes are so much greater, so much more noble.
