In week 5 of the journey through Deuteronomy Pastor Matt dealt with some of the more intimidating passages in Deuteronomy. Why does Deuteronomy call us to show no pity, what of the God of grace? When Scripture intimidates what do we do?

Week 3 of our Grace and Responsibility series through Deuteronomy. Pastor Matt engages Deuteronomy 15:1-18 in which, the Israelites are called into God's economy to remember their deliverance. The practice of Jubilee! Since we serve a God who Delivers we are called to be a people who deliver, deliver the poor have open hands to the needy and free those in captivity. 
 
Alongside prayer Pastor Matt used two primary commentaries in preparation of his sermon.
