As we grow ever closer to the Thanksgiving Holiday, we must continue to cultivate thankful hearts for God's goodness, provision, and especially His Presence. Instead of being consumed by what we might 'GET,' we should look for ways to 'GIVE' of ourselves and the blessings the LORD has poured out on us. Because over time, our Thankful hearts should move towards a Giving heart that can positively impact the world around us.

On this Reformation Day, we complete our Fall Series on Evangelism. Even thought Faith is a Journey, at some point, every person must make a commitment to believe in Jesus Christ and accept His free gift of Salvation. As we see in Today's Passage, even though God is the Primary Mover, this often that requires us to be in the just the right place and time to help point someone to Christ and help lead them into that saving relationship with our Lord. We begin a new series on the Story of Samson, the last of 12 Judges between the leadership of Joshua and King Saul. In a time of deep hopelessness, God steps into History to provide a Deliverer. And yet the question we wrestle with is how much influence do Parents/Guardians have over the Children that God gives us? Thankfully, even when children wander away from the WAY of God, they can never escape the Love God has for His people. You too can be 'SET APART' for Service to God and His Kingdom.

So that we can be 'fully present' for Advent during this most difficult year, we are spending the next three weeks looking at how Gratitude is NOT a feeling, but rather a CHOICE we must make every day. We begin with a 'song of gratitude' sung by God's people after crossing the Red Sea. <br />
Since God's People often lose sight that we have 'plenty to be thankful for,' gratitude is an important action we must practice each and every day. As we begin a new 'season' of gratitude, let us all be thankful for who God is, and what He has done for us.

On this year's Palm Sunday, we look at how people responded to Jesus 1st Coming and His Triumphant Entry into the Holy City of Jerusalem. While many shouted 'Hosanna,' others became angry and missed the coming Messiah. At Jesus 2nd Coming, all people will see the POWER and the GLORY of His return on that Glorious Day.
