We know also that Satan is very active in the lives of many people now and does everything he possibly can to mislead them away from knowing what the Bible really teaches about Christ so he can capture their hearts and minds and bring their souls to hell. 
 
In today’s text, Jesus Himself is accused of being possessed by Satan by scribes that came to investigate Him. And what we will see, is Jesus skillfully challenging them to the absurdity of their accusations and and the same time warning them that they are committing the unforgiveable sin.

In last week’s Gospel lesson Jesus used the word “abide” seven times in the eight versus of that text, thus driving home the point that it was very important for us to fully understand what abiding in Christ means.

“The Good Shepherd” John 10:11-18

In this study, we continue our Easter resurrection story where Christ appeared to His disciples on that first Easter evening where they were hiding in fear in that locked upper room. Today we hear from St. Luke. And you will most likely notice is that there are similarities between Luke and John’s accounting of this historical event. But both writings are given to us by God the Holy Spirit, to strengthen and preserve our faith!
