In 2024, God moved powerfully in and through Southeast Christian Church! 5,051 individuals embraced new life in Christ through baptism, stepping into His hope and freedom. Thousands of kids and students—4,865 to be exact—encountered Jesus and built meaningful friendships at Southeast Camps, and 106 missionaries brought the Gospel to the ends of the earth. 
Your faithful giving made an eternal impact. Together, we are loving our neighbors one at a time and advancing His Kingdom. Let’s look back on what God has done and continue to trust Him for even greater things in 2025!

Christmas is more than a celebration of Jesus' birth; it's a reminder of the victory that began in the manger. His arrival marked God's declaration of war against everything that crushes us—grief, addiction, guilt, and despair. As we live in the "already," we experience His peace, even in a broken world. But we also look ahead to His return, when He will ultimately crush all that steals our peace. Let this Christmas be a time to pray, "God of Peace, crush what's crushing us," and find hope in the victory Jesus has already begun.

Already, But Not Yet

The birth of Jesus was more than just a heartwarming nativity scene. It was a declaration of war against the forces of darkness. In the vulnerability of a newborn child, God revealed his plan to crush the enemy who has long sought to crush us. The paradox of Christmas is that the God of peace comes as a crusher of evil. This baby in the manger, seemingly fragile and powerless, is the instrument God uses to crush the very things that crush us. As we contemplate the Christmas story, we're reminded that while evil may bruise us, it cannot ultimately crush us. The newborn baby, who grew to be the crucified and risen Lord, assures us of this. His birth set in motion a chain of events that will culminate in Satan's final defeat. This Christmas, as we gaze upon the manger, we're not just celebrating a birth, but anticipating a victory. In the face of a world that often seems overwhelmed by darkness, we hold fast to this promise: the God of peace will soon crush Satan under our feet. The baby of Bethlehem is coming again, and His return will bring the fullness of God's peace to reign forever.
