Jesus wants us to live as children of God, loving everyone as God loves us.

via YouTube Capture: Why are we called Christians? The disciples of Jesus were called Christians by the people around them in Antioch first (Acts 11:26). Do people around us see the difference in us as disciples of Jesus? Let us pray that we demonstrate the truth in our daily living that Jesus is living in us and we are living in Him.

James and John, two brothers, two of the twelve apostles of Jesus, came and presented their request: to sit at His right and left when He comes into His glory. Jesus stated that it was not for Him to grant that request (Mark 10: 35-40).

Oct 27, 2014 : King Herod murdered John the Baptist in prison: Mark 6: 16-29.

Leaders of the Sanhedrin were trying to find some reason to condemn Jesus to death. Though many false witnesses came forward they could not find  any reason good enough to put Jesus to death. How do we handle the judgments of the people around?

Jesus was instructing his disciples about fulfilling the plan of God for His life. He could call down 12 legions of angels to fight for him; but "how then would the scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen this way?" (Matt. 26:54). Let us learn to fulfill God's plan.
