How sad that some believers from the very beginning were critical of the apostles! The spirit of criticism continues to rule in our churches. Let us pray and work hard to change it into the spirit of praise for others who disagree with us and love them with the joy of Jesus.

Let us pray that our faith keeps growing and we be able to work miracles of healing of both physically and mentally paralyzed.

This event teaches us to pray for those who persecute the believers, knowing that they are persecuting Jesus and He will turn them around.

Baptism is an important celebration in the life of a believer. It is the experience of being dead with Christ, buried with Him and resurrected to live with Jesus now and forever.

Are we giving to the people around us Jesus we have? There are people crippled with depression and sins of all kinds. What are doing with the name of Jesus?

How come we are not devoted to study, fellowship, Holy Communion and prayer? Let us ask the Holy Spirit to give us the passion to do the four things necessary for growing in Christ.

How wonderful it is to know and believe that our life is not over on earth and that our soul continues to live beyond this earth! We go through grief when our loved ones die. Let us say to ourselves and others that our loved ones continue to live and we will see them again in heaven.

It was the first sin committed by Cain which resulted in the first murder. Envy is in all of us. It keeps on rooting our bones without us knowing. Let us pray that we get rid of envy and fill our hearts with peace of Jesus.

Genuine love is opposite of selfishness. The more we grow in Jesus the more we become unselfish. We receive love from Jesus and are excited about sharing it with others in words and works.

Let us pray for those who do such things to be saved from such deeds and to welcome Jesus.

Jesus is the ultimate expression of God's mercy. Let us praise God for his everlasting mercy. Let us receive mercy from Jesus and give it out to everyone as we prepare for this Christmas.
