Jesus submitted Himself to be baptized by John, and He commanded His disciples to wait to be baptized in the Holy Spirit before they left Jerusalem. ➡️ Jesus’s first directive was not to believe, but to repent. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses how repentance leads to faith—it’s a foundational practice we cannot afford to ignore. Our salvation is an expression of grace—we didn’t earn it, we don’t deserve it, and it’s not based on merit. But for Jesus to be Lord of our lives, we need to regularly repent and yield our will to Him. Jesus is Lord of everything, or He’s not Lord of anything. Pastor Allen offers steps we can take toward repentance, inviting the Spirit of God to give us eyes to see and ears to hear what He wants us to show us.

Big Trouble Ahead [How to Respond] • Pastor Allen Jackson

➡️ We aren’t the first generation to wonder if we are approaching the End of the Age, and we don’t need to be afraid—there are good things ahead. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson offers two perspectives: either Jesus will return soon, or the Church is being awakened and prepared for our next assignment. In either case, we have a responsibility to be Jesus’ advocates on the earth, standing boldly for Him and His Truth. We cannot afford to have an escapist mentality. The Bible says we will not know the exact time or date of Jesus’ return, so our goal isn’t to try to predict the future, but to be fully engaged in doing His work, everywhere we go, no matter what.

➡️ We can learn much about today’s challenges by studying history. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses Peter and other early Christians, who endured significant spiritual battles as they suffered, were persecuted, and even died for their beliefs, which were considered to be radical at the time. If early believers had yielded to the religious pressures of their era, it would have been fatal to our faith.
