The best way God’s love is manifested is the sacrifice of Jesus. The best way God’s love is experienced is in the fellowship of the Body of Christ. The only way to become a part of the Body of Christ is to become a child of God. Becoming a child of God is incomprehensible and is the binding principal of the Christian relationship with God. Love is the reason for the status.

Focus – the concept of love, we are His children, sin and hate are never compatible with the relationship. We are to do more than feel love we are to love as well

Our Status
1. As a child I have security (I am now a child of God)
2. I have hope (as a child I am eternal)
3. I can have less stress if I embrace my status as currently a child of God

The Secret (what will be revealed)
Rom 3:23; Rom 8:16 – 17, 18; 28 – 30
We are already what will be revealed! Act accordingly

The Strategy
“this hope” = Christ revealing to us, our being revealed at that time to be like Him

“purifies himself” – hope is our motivator for purification of done by ourselves

“pure” = perfection without blemish
