When Peter preached to the Gentile Cornelius, recorded in Acts 10:34-43, he said nothing about God being a Trinity, or Jesus being God or a God-man.

Yet, the listeners heard and were saved! How could they be saved without believing that Jesus was God?

In fact, in his preaching Peter differentiated between God (all of God) and Jesus at least five times in these verses. Jesus is the man, the Messiah (Christ) from Nazareth, but is not God.

Why didn't Peter say that Jesus was God, but instead differentiated Jesus from God?
