*remember Isaiah prophesies in a pattern of issue, consequence, solution
*by taking Christ out of your story you are removing the solution
*so you are left with the issue and the consequences. That makes for a pretty sucky, empty human existence - not immediately, however it will always feel a bit empty and lacking
