In this message, guest speaker Shawn Scanlon examines Acts 14:8-18 where Paul and Barnabas travel to Lystra where they preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Upon hearing the message (and through an accompanying miracle) one man believes and is saved, and the rest of the town commit blasphemy by trying to worship the apostles.
So on the one hand, let us receive the gospel in faith, and not blasphemy. And on the other hand, let us declare the gospel boldly to others knowing that God has commanded us to do so, and that He has ordained us as the means of bringing people to faith--even if it's just one man amongst a city of pagans.
