God sent his son into this world to bring love to the world. But sadly, even though God loves everyone, most never know his love. This is true of those who have never taken the risk to welcome Jesus. This is also true of many Christians who knew Jesus at one point but haven't seen him for years. Today's scripture makes it clear that some will receive the Christmas gift in abundance, and many will see this gift pass them by. Which will we choose?
Matthew 13: 10-12
The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the
people in parables?”

He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.

Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.
